Clyde W. Riepe

Bandana, Ky, Clyde Wesley Riepe, passed away at age 86 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born July 3, 1938, in Metropolis, Illinois.

Clyde was an Army veteran. He retired from Westvaco Papermill after 30 years of service. After retirement one of his favorite things was to spend his time at his camper and crappie fishing. He enjoyed watching college sports. Clyde loved his family dearly.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Mary Kay Rowan Riepe; Children, Dawn Lamb, Kim Farmer, Michael and wife Shana Riepe; brother, Jerry Riepe; sister Darla and husband Luis Rivas; grandchildren, Holly, husband Steve Wray, Wesley and wife Catherine Farmer, Hayden and wife Alexandria Farmer, Marie and husband Joe Gruber, and Haley Allen. Several great grandchildren; Kayleigh, Hadley, Aubrey, Emmy, Will, Landon Wray, Oliver and Lyla, Emmett, and Evelyn Farmer, Haylee, Alice and Dana. Several nieces and nephews.

Clyde was preceded in death by, his parents, Wendell and Ruth Dieckman Riepe, baby brother Bobby Gene, baby sister, Janet Kay, sister Sue Skrine, several aunts and uncles.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 9, 2024, at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter, KY from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.

Memorial Service will be held on Monday, December 9, 2024, at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter, KY at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Scott Fickes officiating.

Interment will follow at St. Mary's Catholic Church Cemetery.
