David Meredith Walker

He was born February 24, 1950 in Woodville, KY to his late parents, Meredith and Leona Long Walker.

David was a member of Rickman Road Baptist Church. He retired from Ballard County Road Department. David owned and operated Walker Garage in Kevil for over 50 years. He was a great mechanic.

He is survived by a son, Michael Walker of South Fulton, TN; three stepsons, Michael Thomas Underwood of Louisville, KY, Donald Joseph Underwood (Sherry) of Murray, KY, Joshua Holt Underwood (Kristan) of Paducah, KY; two daughters, Samantha Hargrove (Lee) of Barlow, KY, Tia Warren (Michael) of Kevil, KY; four step daughters, Michelle Hall (Jimmy) of Paducah, KY, Susan Culp of Paducah, KY, Robyn Bybee (Terrill) of Paducah, KY and Angel Henry (Brandon) of LaCenter, KY; a brother, Charles Walker (Sherry) of Kevil, KY; three sisters, Ida Mae Walker of Kevil, Martha Foote of Kevil, KY and Shirley Parker of Paducah, KY; eighteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

David was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Holt Walker, a grandson, Sawyer Underwood; a brother, Allie Walker and his parents.

Visitation will be held Friday, May 19, after 11:00 am at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter, KY.

Funeral services will beheld Friday, May 19, 2023 at 2:30 p.m.at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter with Rev. Stan Durrett officiating. Interment will follow at Bethel Christian Church Cemetery.
