Dorothy Evelyn Brown

LaCenter, KY- Dorothy Evelyn Brown age 86 passed away Saturday, July 24, 2021 at Baptist Health in Paducah, Ky. She was born on October 27, 1934 in Poplar Bluff, Mo to the late Mary Idella Busby.

Dorothy was a Licensed Practical Nurse and worked in several nursing homes and hospitals including the Veterans Hospital. She was a member of Anchor of Hope Church in Wickliffe, KY. In her free time she loved to volunteer at the soup kitchen. One of her most important traits she had was to always help others.

She is survived by one son, Andrew Brown of Michigan; three daughters, Mary Jane Taylor of Arkansas, Rebecca Brown of Michigan, Elizabeth Carrigan of Michigan and Sarah Brown Gaither of LaCenter, KY; several grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband Roy Brown, a stepson Kenneth Brown, 2 step daughters Minnie Francis Gunther and Barbara Allen Blasinhim.

There are no services at this time. Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter, KY is handling arrangements.
