Earlene L. (Lynn) Russell

LaCenter, KY Earlene L. Russell, age 85, passed away at Mercy Lourdes Hospital on Wednesday, November 29, 2023. She was born March 31, 1938 to her late parents Jack and Mattie Jane Callis Lynn. Earlene was a member of First Baptist Church of LaCenter. She had a compassionate and caring spirit and loved volunteering at Life Care. She was a caregiver for Cody for several years and took care of him like he was her own. Earlene loved to grow a garden and spent a lot of time canning all she had grown. The joy and center of her life were her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by a son, David Russell of LaCenter, KY; a daughter, Debbie Dyson (Dennis) of LaCenter, KY; two brothers, Ray Lynn (Naomi) of Wickliffe, KY, Morris Lynn of Wickliffe, KY; a sister, Lillie Mae Sharer of Wickliffe, KY; two grandchildren, Jamie Deweese (Ellis) of LaCenter, KY and Justin L. Dyson (Cassidy) of La Center, KY; one great grandson, Myles Dyson.

Earlene was preceded in death by her husband of sixty years, Leonard Russell; two brothers, Bud Lynn and Billy Lynn and her parents.

Visitation will be held Monday, December 4, 2023 after 11:00 A.M. at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter, KY.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, December 4, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter, KY. with the Rev. Rodney Hill officiating.

Interment will follow at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery.
