Poplar Bluff, Missouri, Eula Byerley, passed away on March 2, 2025, at Life Care Center of Cape Girardeau. She was born in Cape Girardeau, Missouri on February 24, 1937, to her parents, George and Birdie Smith Mungle.
Eula will be remembered by her family as a wonderful cook. Her culinary skills were put to great use as a cook at Baptist Health for many years. She loved to play bingo and enjoyed working in her flower garden. Eula loved her family, but especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by two sons, Billy (Linda) Byerley of Kevil, KY, and Rickie (Ronda) Byerley of Paducah, KY; one daughter, Rebecca Heflin of Chaffee, Missouri; one brother, David Mungle of White Water, MO; two sisters, Mary Bowers of Jackson, MO and Shirley Eddleman of White Water, MO; eleven grandchildren, Brian (Tammie), David (Sammie), Dianna (D.J.), Holly (Joe), Chris (Cara), Christina, Eric, Adam, Kevin, Tavie (David) Thomas and several great grandchildren.
Eula is preceded in death by her husband, Calvin Byerley; daughter, Sarah Senter; sister, Wilma Hester; brother, Larry Mungle and her parents.
Visitation Services will be held on Thursday, March 6, 2025, at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, March 6, 2025, at Woodlawn Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Dale Harrell officiating.
