FAITHIE NIOMA GILES GUFFY transitioned on January 25, 2020. Due to COVID travel restrictions, the previously planned celebration had to be postponed.

HER NEW SERVICE IS NOW PLANNED LOCATION - Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter Kentucky

DATE - April 2, 2022 TIME- 2:00pm

ALL FAMILY AND FRIENDS ARE INVITED AND HOPEFULLY WILL BE ABLE TO ATTEND.

Because of scheduling issues, some of the original participants will not be able to bless us with their Words, Prayers, or Music. These include Rev., Dr. Robert Price, Officiant Terrell TX. Dr. Samuel Fadare, Kansas City, MO., Eulogist and Singer of Traditional Nigerian Hymn. Mr. Robert Bryant, Little Rock, AR., New Orleans style rendition of “When the Saints Go Marching In!” Each of these men was very special in Faithie’s life, will certainly be missed and will be with us in in Spirit and Prayer!

Family and Guests should gather at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter, KY by 1:45PM and will proceed to the cemetery in a procession to arrive at LaCenter Cemetery for the 2:00PM graveside service. Rev. Toby Dulworth will be officiating the service.

Faithie was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert D. Giles and was married to the honorable James O. Guffy. They had one daughter, Deborah K. Guffy. Faithie was proceeded in death by her mother, Viva Lorene Lanier Giles and her father, Robert David Giles, her husband and the love of her life, Odene Guffy, four brothers, Bobby, Johnny, Don, Ronnie Giles, Sr. and one sister, Roxie Sanders.

She is survived by two sisters, Janet Price and Phyllis Golightly, her daughter Deb and numerous in-laws, nephews and nieces.
