Kevil, KY Florence Marie Lanier passed away Sunday morning, August 8, 2021 at Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Center in Paducah, KY.
Florence was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. She was an Army Veteran and served on the Ballard County Fair Board for many years.
She is survived by one son, Paul Lanier (Claudia) of Kevil, KY, a daughter Rita Crabtree (Joe) of Kevil, KY. Two grandchildren Bobby Joe Crabtree of Kevil, KY and Tanner Lanier of Kevil, KY. Five step grandchildren, James Kelley, Brandon Lynn, Justin Lynn, Brittaney Vines, and Amanda Shafer. Three sisters Mary Zink of Brighton, Colorado, Josie (John) Mearns of Shoreline, Washington, and Ellen Monroe (Bob) of Frederick, Colorado . One brother, John Pieper (Mardell) of Rock Spring, Wyoming.
Florence was preceded in death by her husband Bobby Earl Lanier, a grandson Justin Crabtree, her parents Alfons and Josephine Pieper, a sister and brother in law Hank and Louis Schulz, two brothers Alfred Pieper and Danny Pieper and a brother in law Albert Zinc, Jr.
Visitation will be Thursday, August 12, 2021 after 11:00 am at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter,KY.
Funeral Services will be Thursday, August 12, 2021 at 2:00 pm with the Rev. Basilio As Cuc officiating.
Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Catholic Church cemetery with Military Honors.
