Gilbert Madden Harper

Barlow, KY Gilbert Madden Harper, age 72, passed away on Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at Ray and Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah, KY.

He was born In Cairo, Illinois on October 17, 1949 to the late Clarence and Fannie Louise Harper. Gilbert was a member of Blandville Baptist Church. He retired after 30 years of service at Cole Lumber.

He is survived by a son, Jason Harper (Jennifer) of Melber, KY; a daughter, Tina Robison of Blandville, KY; two sisters Annie Blackman of Paducah, KY and Genevieve Carrier of Cincinnati, Ohio; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Gilbert was preceded in death by a brother, Gene Harper; three sisters, Ethel James, Mary Hall, and Margaret Douglas.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday July 9, 2022 at 11:00 am at Hillcrest Cemetery at Blandville, KY with the Rev. Jim Smith officiating.
