Obituary
Barlow, KY Glen Smith, age 76, passed away on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, KY.
He was born in Madison, Indiana on January 24, 1947 to his parents, Cy and Thelma (Carter) Smith. Glen was a volunteer fireman for LaCenter Fire Department for over 20 years. He was an avid University of Kentucky Basketball fan. In his younger days , Glen spent time in the game reserve fishing. He was an amazing softball player. Glen loved his family, especially his children, grandchildren and his favorite sister.
Glen is survived by four daughters, Wanda Smith of LaCenter, KY, Dawn Mays of Barlow, KY, Tina Barnhill of Barlow, KY and Angela Pratt of LaCenter, KY; a sister, June Belcher of Barlow, KY.; eleven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 10, 2023 after 11:00 a.m. at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter, KY.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter, KY with Rev. Joey Donelson officiating.
Interment will follow at LaCenter Cemetery.
