Hobart "Leon" Lee Elrod

West Paducah, KY Hobart Lee "Leon" Elrod, age 84, passed away Sunday, January 21, 2024 at 7:11 P.M. at Mercy Health Lourdes in Paducah, KY. He was born in Paducah, KY, March 19, 1939 to his late parents George "Dit" and Valerie Canady Elrod.

Leon was a proud Air Force Veteran. He had a great career in the tool and die industry and in his later years owned his own business. Leon was a member of Lone Oak First Baptist Church. After he retired he became an avid golfer.

Leon is survived by a special friend, Sherry Hancock of Hopkinsville, KY; a stepdaughter, Robin King of Petaluma, California; a nephew, Tom Vance of West Paducah, KY and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a sister, three brothers and his parents.

Leon requested no services. Prayers for the family are coveted.
