Janet Sue (Mitchell) Paulus

Kevil, KY Janet Sue Paulus, age 88 passed away at her home on Friday evening, August 2, 2024. She was born in Cairo, Illinois on January 13, 1936 to her late parents, Warren and Margaret Elaine (Hart) Mitchell.

Janet enjoyed cooking and was an excellent cook. In her younger years she did a great deal of traveling. She retired from AT&T, where she was employed for several years. She loved Cardinal birds. Thankful for all the wonderful people who took care of her these past few years.

She is survived by a brother, Warren Allen Mitchell of Tamms, Illinois; eight grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren.

Janet was preceded in death by her husband, Alcuin Bennett Paulus; two sons, James Raymond Paulus and Tim Alan Paulus; two daughters, Catherine Stiner, Janet Elaine Hattfield; two sisters, Sharon McGinness and Mereleane Steinbuck; a great grandson, Shane Christopher Aldrich Kerr and her parents.
