Jeanie DuBois

Jeanie DuBois, age 64 passed away Sunday, July 21, 2024 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in St. Louis, MO on April 19, 1960 to her late parents; Fred and Marie Kraft Ellis.

She was of the Catholic Faith and attended St. Mary's Catholic church in LaCenter where she taught religion classes. Jeanie was an amazing person and loved to help people especially the elderly. Arts and crafts were a specialty of hers. She was a collector of anything pertaining to elephants. Gardening was a hobby of Jeanie's and she loved animals.

Jeanie is survived by her husband of 43 years, Doug DuBois of Paducah, KY; one son, Andrew Dubois of Paducah, KY; two brothers, Rob Ellis of Poplar Bluff, MO and her twin Jay Ellis (Shelly) of Farmington, MO; a sister Cheri Dellinger (Ron) of Hilton Head Island, SC.

She was preceded in death by two brothers; Mike Ellis and Sean Ellis and her parents.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church 123 N. 8th Street Poplar Bluff, MO 63901 with Father Daniel Robles officiating.

Interment will follow at Sacred Heart Catholic Church Cemetery.
