Johnnie Lee (Johnson) Wring

LaCenter, KY Johnnie Lee Wring, age 84, passed away on October 26, 2023 at Life Care Center of LaCenter. She was born on January 7, 1939 in Pocahontas, Arkansas to her parents John D. and Blanche Johnson.

Johnnie was a wonderful Mom, grandmother and great grandmother, she loved to be with her family. She owned and operated Holts Beauty Shop in Paducah for 13 years. In 1986 she went back to college to be a Nurse and was employed as a nurse for 22 years. Johnnie loved to travel with her sisters, especially to the beach or the lake.

Johnnie is survived by five daughters, Christina Cavanaugh of LaCenter, KY, Cindy Perkins of LaCenter, KY, Donna Evans of Louisville, KY, Linda Pittman (Neil) of Wickliffe, KY and Tina Covington (Darrell) of Louisville, KY; a sister Judy King of Rosebud, Missouri; eight grandchildren, Chad Perkins, Angela Bannick, Jessica Evans, Katie Evans, Tyler Pittman, Amanda LaFont, Matthew Covington, and Karen Carby; fourteen great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, R.H. Johnson and Huey Johnson; four sisters, Maxine Spence, Mary Mallicoat, Bonnie Bollinger and Charlene Happold.

Visitation will be held Monday, October 30, 2023 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter, KY.

A Celebration of Johnnie's Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, October 30, 2023 at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter, KY with Rev. Ryan Baker officiating.
