Joyce J. (Wyatt) Agers

Joyce Agers, age 89, passed away at Mercy Health Lourdes Hospital, Sunday, February 6, 2022.

Joyce was born to her parents, Elmer and Madeline Elmore Wyatt on December 16, 1932. She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church. Joyce loved children and cared for many of them in her home through the years. She was an avid quilt maker and would bake homemade bread to share with her family and friends. Joyce loved to visit her friends. She loved her family dearly and will be greatly missed.

She is survived by one son, Tony Agers of LaCenter, KY; two grandaughters, Jennifer Parrott of LaCenter and Christy Bishop and her husband Darrin of LaCenter, KY; two brothers, Dickie Wyatt of Glasgow, KY and Larry Wyatt of Glasgow, KY; four great grandchildren, Austin Parrott, Hunter Bishop, Carson Bishop and Madelynne Parrott.

Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Agers; a son, Daryl Agers; a sister; two brothers and her parents.

 Funeral services will be Thursday, February 10, 2022 at 1:00 pm at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter, KY with the Rev. Robert Bickford officiating.

Interment will follow at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be Wednesday, February 9, 2022 from 5-8 pm at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter, KY.
