June (Howcroft) Wilson

LaCenter, KY June Wilson, age 96, passed away Sunday morning, April 10, 2022 at Life Care Center in LaCenter.

June was born to her parents George W. and Nona Mullins Howcroft on December 27, 1925. She was a faithful member of Blandville Baptist Church and was the oldest and longest member. June also taught Sunday School for many years. June enjoyed her Homemakers Club at Gage for many years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

She is survived by one son, Michael Wilson of LaCenter, KY; two grandchildren, Will Wilson (Kristen) and Holly Wilson; eleven great grandchildren, Drew Sullivan, Emily (Sullivan) Hunt, Sam Wilson (Meredith), Clayton Wilson (Julia), Susanah Wilson, Madison Wilson (Melena), Jenna Wilson, Cameron Wilson, Ava Wilson, Katie Wilson and Hannah Wilson.

June was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years Billy Rhea Wilson; a daughter, Susan Wilson; one brother, Jim Howcroft her parents.

Visitation will be Tuesday, April 12, 2022 from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter, KY.

Graveside Services will be Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at 1:00 pm at Hillcrest Cemetery at Blandville with the Rev. Brian Overstreet officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
