Kenneth Douglas, age 71 of Barlow, KY passed away Monday, December 11, 2023 at Baptist Health in Paducah, KY. He was born October 25, 1952 to his parents Charles Kenneth and Fay Wells Douglas.
Kenneth was an avid deer hunter, crappie fisherman, was the Cabela's Sportsman of the year in 2009, and was a charter member of Crappie USA. He was a member of Ballard Masonic Lodge #537 and attended House of Prayer where he served as deacon. Most of his working years he was an over the road truck driver for several years until he retired. Kenneth was an Air Force Veteran. Kenneth loved children and was a Tri County Shriner Clown out of Sikeston, MO. He has two dogs he loved very much, Koko and Whiskers. He always enjoyed a good Bar B Q and would entertain his family and friends with a fish fry.
He is survived by his wife of 6 years, Joyce Douglas of Barlow, KY; one step son, William Williams of Wappapello, MO; two grand daughters, Chesley Kaiser (Josh) and Whitney Driscoll (Tyler); two great grandchildren, Bryson Kaiser and Hadley Kaiser; three sisters, Charlotte Tidwell (Troy) of Sikeston, MO, Rita Cooksey of Poplar Bluff, MO and Sarah Wolffer (John) of St. Louis, MO.
Kenneth is preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Gary Douglas; one sister, Pat Hosey.
Visitation will be held Saturday, December 16, 2023 at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter, KY from 11:00 a.m. until funeral time.
Funeral and Masonic Service will be held Saturday, December 16, 2023 at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter, KY beginning at 1:00 p.m. with Rev Billy Dale Crabtree officiating.
Interment will follow at Wickliffe Cemetery.
