Martha Lampkin

Barlow, KY Martha Lampkin, age 82, passed away on Thursday, March 17, 2022 at Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah, KY.

Martha was born November 29, 1939 to her parents Homer and Arline Herndon. She was a member of Barlow Baptist Church and was an employee of Teleservice for many years. Martha enjoyed sewing, loved working with upholstery and quilting. She was a wonderful cook and loved to be outdoors especially if she was fishing.

She is survived by one son, Tex Lampkin (Frances) of Kevil, KY; three brothers, Paul Herndon of Pendleton, MO, Willie Herndon of Warrenton, MO and Tommy Herndon of Warrenton, MO; four grandchildren, Jeremiah Lampkin, Alesha Lampkin, David Lampkin and Roger Lampkin; sixteen great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.

Martha was preceded in death by her husband, George Wilbur Lampkin; a great grandaughter, Kaylea Marie Lampkin; two stepsons, two brothers and her parents.

Visitation will be Sunday, March 20, 2022 after 12:00 p.m. at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter.

Funeral Services will be Sunday, March 20, 2022 at 1:00 P.M. at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter with the Rev. Jimmy Ellis officiating.

Interment will follow at Barlow Cemetery.
