Martha Lou Talamantes

Barlow, KY Martha Talamantes, age 85, passed away at her nephew's house in LaCenter, KY on Tuesday, August 27, 2024. She was born in Kevil, KY on December 30, 1938 to her late parents, Gilbert and Marion (McClanahan) Elrod.

Martha was a precious soul and loved people. She was a caregiver to several people for many years. She was a member of Barlow United Methodist Church.

She is survived by a son, Martin Talamantes; two brothers, Donnie Elrod and Jerry Elrod; a sister JoAnna Burnley of Barlow, KY; two grandsons, Levi Travis Talamantes and Levi Andrew Talamantes of Georgia.

Martha was preceded in death by her husband, Andres Talamantes, three sisters, two brothers and her parents.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, August 29, 2024 at 10:00 am at Woodville Cemetery in Kevil, KY.
