Melinda Gail Durard

LaCenter, KY, Melinda Gail Durard, age 53, passed away at Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center on October 10, 2024. She was born on June 4, 1971, to her parents Robert and Alice Evans.

Gail was a member of Blandville Baptist Church and her love for the Lord was her main passion. Gail obtained her associate's degree in child development and retired after working 22 years at Ballard County Pre-School and Murray Head Start. Gail had a love for animals, especially her dog, Pepper, arts and crafts, puzzles, diamond art and camping. Most of all, Gail loved her family.

She is survived by her husband of 18 years, Douglas Durard of LaCenter, KY; three sons, Evan Hannan of Madisonville, KY, Mason Hannon of LaCenter, KY, and Dawson Agers of LaCenter, KY; her father, Robert (Linda) Evans of LaCenter, KY; one brother, Dennis Evans of Pratt, Kansas; two sisters, Paula Smoley of Hickman, KY and Dawn (Jim) Denyes of Ocala, Florida; and several nieces and nephews.

Gail was preceded in death by her mother, Alice Evans.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2024, after 10:00 a.m. at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter, KY.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at 12:00 p.m. at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter, KY with Rev. David Smith officiating.

Interment will follow at Bethel Cumberland Presbyterian Cemetery.
