Wickliffe, KY Morris Lynn passed away on Monday, February 3, 2025, at Baptist Health in Paducah. He was born on June 1, 1940, to his late parents, Jack and Mattie Callis Lynn.
Morris spent his life working as an Ironwork with the Local # 782 out of Paducah, KY. He was a past Master of the Wickliffe Masonic Lodge #625. He was an avid Kentucky Wildcat and St. Louis Cardinals fan. Morris was a jack of all trades and never had a bad word to say about anyone he encountered. He had a love for helping others and spent many years maintaining grounds for a private cemetery.
He is survived by one son, Todd Lynn (Tena) of Union City, TN; one brother, Ray Lynn (Naomi) of Slater, KY; one sister, Lillie Mae Sharer of Slater, KY; one special niece, Toni Lynn-Garrett (Rodney) of Wickliffe, KY; two grandchildren, Brad Lynn of Wickliffe, KY and Bobby (Madison) Vissering of Louisville, KY; one great grandchild, Oliver Vissering; and loved by several nieces and nephews.
Morris was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Lynda Lynn; one son, Dwayne Lynn; one sister, Earlene Russell; two brothers, Bill Lynn and Cecil Lynn, one infant brother and one infant sister and his parents.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 6, 2025, beginning at 6:00 p.m. with Masonic Rites at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will also be held on Friday, February 7, 2025, beginning at 9:00 a.m. until funeral time.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, February 7, 2025, beginning at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Larry Fraser officiating.
Interment will follow at Wickliffe Cemetery.
