Wickliffe, Ky, Phillip B. Ward, age 73, passed away on Thursday, June 5, 2025, at Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Center in Paducah, Ky. He was born in Paducah, KY, on December 21, 1951, to his late parents, Homer and Vanda Boyd Ward.
Phillip was an avid UK Wildcats Basketball fan and loved to spend his time fishing. He was saved and knew the Lord. Phillip admired being with his family and grandchildren any opportunity he was given.
He is survived by four daughters, Tonya Payne (Jason) of Louisville, KY, Sharol Ward of Carlisle County, Christy Crosier (Donnie) of Barlow, KY and Jennifer Ray (Josh) of Hickory, KY; two brothers, Skeeter Ward and Preston Ward both of Reidland, KY; one sister Sharol Dowdy of Reidland, KY; six grandchildren, Derrick Campbell, Aaron Campbell, Daniel Stoops, Sgt. Ian Ray, Hannah Crosier and Jonah Crosier; and four great-grandchildren, Jesse James Stoops, Paul James Stoops, Liam Campbell and Phillip Campbell.
Phillip was preceded in death by his wife, Panama Ward, one grandson John Phillip Embrey, and one sister, Leisha Watkins.
Private graveside service were held on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Wickliffe Cemetery with Rev. Daniel Fraser officiating.
