Reba Kraps, 98, of Paducah, KY, passed away Monday, February 5, 2024. Reba was born in Hardmoney, KY on July 18, 1925, a daughter of the late William Henry and Virginia (Hall) Strickland.
After graduating High School she went on to Murray State University where she earned her Bachelors Degree in Teaching. She began her teaching career in LaCenter Elementary School. She enjoyed God' s creation in nature, watching birds and being outdoors. Reba loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was always ready to go shopping and out to eat with her family and friends. She was a member of Oscar Community Church.
She is survived by a son, Mike Ingram and his wife Marilyn of Barlow, KY; a daughter, Carol Draper of Kevil, KY; five grandchildren, Barry Ingram (Angie), Monica Ingram (Greg), Brandon Ingram (Taylor), Amy Hines (Tommy), and Zane Draper (Kristi); nine great grandchildren, Bryson Ingram, Lane Myatt, Rowen Myatt, Maisyn Cain, Emerson Ingram, Taylor Draper, Ty Draper, Callie Hines and Rylee Hines.
Reba was preceded in death by her brother, Paul Strickland, her parents and her husbands, Allen Ingram, Dow Orr and Don Kraps.
There will be a private family service at a later date.
