Renate Angela (Wuerfel) Hack

LaCenter, KY Renate Angela Hack, age 84, passed away Friday, November 24, 2023 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on September 26, 1939 in Czechoslovakia to her late parents, Paul and Rosa Wuerfel. She was a member of LaCenter Christian Church. Renate was employed as bookkeeper and secretary at Ballard Memorial High School from 1973-1981 and volunteered at St. Mary's Food Pantry, Whether it was tending to her flowers or mowing her grass, she loved to work in the yard. She was a beautiful soul with a generous spirit and loved to care for those in need.

She is survived by two daughters, Barbara Gorsuch (Terry) of Kevil, KY, and Ingrid Webb (Robert) of Barlow, KY; sister, Charlotte Donawitzer of Germany; four grandchildren, Michael Gorsuch (Brooke) of Edmond, OK, Amanda Dirmeyer (Gabriel) of Oklahoma City, OK, Matthew Gorsuch of Edmond, OK, and Alex Lane (Heather Forrester) of Paducah, KY; two great grandchildren, Ava Gorsuch and Ella Gorsuch. Several nieces and nephews.

Renate was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Dickie Hack, two brothers, a sister and her parents.

Visitation will be held on Monday, November 27, 2023 after 11:00 a.m. at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter, KY.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, November 27, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter, KY with the Rev. Chris Cooper officiating.

Interment will follow at LaCenter Cemetery.
