Rogna Robertson

Paducah, KY Rogna Ann Robertson (Roggie and Nana Roggie) age 87, passed away on Saturday, July 20,2024 at Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Center in Paducah, KY. She was born in Blandville, KY on February 7,1937 to her late parents, John Louis and Esma (Small) Robertson. friends.

Roggie loved her family and loved spending time with them. Roggie's family, friends and pet Yorkies, Sky and Skylar, were the center of her life. Roggie retired as administrative assistant to the Superintendent of Paducah Public Schools.

Holidays, especially Christmas, and family celebrations were always celebrated with her daughter, grandchildren, great grand children, her sister and brothers. No holiday or family event will be quite the same without her wide grin and stylish presence.

Likewise, annual getaways with her besties (Joyce, Anne and Velma) were always cherished. Their beach and mountain excursions always included lots of shopping, good food and an abundance of chatter!

Another favorite pastime was her garden. She transformed her tangled backyard into a serene park like setting where she enjoyed her coffee and reading mysteries.

She is survived by a daughter Glenann Free (Dwayne) of Kevil, KY; a grandson , Josh Bryant (Madison) of Newburgh, Indiana; a granddaughter, Paige Crumpler (Matthew)of Greenbrier, TN; Step grandson, Eric Free (Tara) of Gainesville, GA; great grandchildren, Zane, River, Kade, Easton and Elijah; a sister and best friend Joyce Sullivan (Kayo) of LaCenter; three brothers, Larry Robertson (Peggy) of Barlow, Terry Robertson of Port Orange, Florida and Kenny Robertson of Wickliffe, KY; several nieces and nephews.

Roggie was preceded in death by her parents and infant sister, Shirley Robertson.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 23,2024 at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter, KY from 6-8 p.m. Also, Wednesday morning from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, July 24,2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter, KY with the Rev. Chris Cooper officiating.

Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery at Blandville, KY.
