Roy Bennett

LaCenter, KY Roy Bennett, age 53, passed away at his home in LaCenter, KY Sunday, July 3, 2022.

Roy was currently employed at Life Care Center of LaCenter and previously was self employed working in construction and masonry. He enjoyed camping, gardening, and fishing. He was a squirrel hunter and loved to look and hunt for arrowheads.

He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Lacretia Bennett of LaCenter, KY; two sons, Corey Bennett of Dogwood, MO and Cody Bennett of LaCenter, KY; his mother, Jane Bennett of East Prairie, MO; five brothers, Sam Bennett (Lisa) of Columbia, MO, Jerry Dunning (Kelly) of Lakeland, FL, Chris Baker of California, MO, Scott Scheeter of Chaffee, MO and Jon Myers of Sikeston, MO; one sister, Tammy Marks of Dexter, MO; two nieces, Lindley Hargett (Sam) of Columbia, MO and Brittan Stancil (Luke) of Batesville, AR.

Roy is preceded in death by his father, Samuel (Teddy) Bennett and one sister, Tammy Bennett.

Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, July 9, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. at McKendree United Methodist Church with the Rev. Bill Miller officiating.
