Rudy Moss

Kevil, KY Rudy Moss passed away on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at Southgate Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Metropolis, Illinois. He was born in Paducah, KY on February 6, 1939, to his late parents, Rudy Childress and Dorothy Mae (Leigh) Moss.

Rudy was an Army Veteran. He was a member of McKendree Methodist Church. Rudy was employed as a pipefitter for many years and retired from VMV Railroad. He loved his family and was an avid UK Wildcats fan.

Rudy is survived by two sons, Randall Moss of Paducah, KY and Troy Moss of Kevil, KY; two daughters, Susie Cradick (Todd) of Kevil, KY and Kelly Gholson (Mike) of Paducah; a brother, Douglas Moss of Kevil, KY; a sister, Betty Robinson of West Paducah, KY; seven grandchildren, Joni Reed, Beth McClain, Matthew Moss, Samantha Rodgers, Drew Cradick, Hagen Gholson and Kyleigh Jo Gholson; twelve great grandchildren, Harper Gholson, Remington Gholson, Brentley Cradick, Oliver Rodgers, Benson Moss, Lucas Reed, Aaron Reed, Sara Reed, Gabe Milliam, Zack Milliam, Elliott Rodgers and Sadie B. Gholson.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Sandra Moss; three brothers, Jimmy Moss, Teddy Moss and Henry Moss; a sister, Clara Browning; a daughter in law, Karen Moss and his parents.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at McKendree Church Cemetery at 2:00 P.M. with Howard Pulley officiating.
