Obituary
Bandana, KY In loving memory of Russell H. Myatt, 75 years old, went to be with Jesus on Tuesday, August 22, 2023. He was born on January 18, 1948 in Cairo, Ill.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Nada Myatt; his sons and daughters, Robert and Tasha Myatt and Tim and Lori Myatt. He was PooPaw to his grandchildren, Layken and Devin Griffin, Brandon Myatt, Ashleigh Bone, Kami Myatt, Konner Myatt, and Kinsey Myatt; great grandchildren, Levi and Lydia Griffin. He is also survived by his other sisters; Elaine Morehead and Marsha Wedgewood; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, JH and Mary Myatt and other mother Ruth Owens. His siblings; Johnny Myatt, Danny Myatt, Mary J. Snow and Rodney Myatt. His other brothers, Theb Morehead and Jim Wedgewood.
Russell attended Bandana Baptist Church. He was employed by the Wickliffe Paper Mill for 46 years until retirement.
Visitation will be Friday, August 25, 2023 after 11:00 a.m. at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter, KY.
Funeral services will be Friday, August 25, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. at Morrow Funeral Chapel with Rev. Wes Morehead officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery.
