Ruth Burnett

Kevil, KY Ruth Burnett, age 94, passed away at her home Tuesday, November 8, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. Ruth was born July 15, 1928 to her parents Homer Lee and Gila Crawford Skinner.

Ruth was a long time member of Newton Creek Baptist Church. She was a great cook and always made sure that meals were special for her husband. Family was important to her and especially loved it when everyone would get together and sing to her. She is survived by several nieces and nephews.

Ruth was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years Billy Joe Burnett; three sisters, Zelma Lee Davis, Almeda Cruse, and Marie Throgmorton and her parents.

Visitation will be Friday, November 11, 2022 at Morrow Funeral Chapel in Kevil, KY after 11:00 A.M.

Funeral Services will be Friday, November 11, 2022 at Morrow Funeral Chapel in Kevil, KY at 1:00 P.M. with Rev. Wes Morehead officiating.

Interment will follow at Newton Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
