Stanley K. Newberry

West Paducah, KY Stanley K. Newberry, age 69, passed away at his home in West Paducah Tuesday, December 20, 2022. Stanley was born October 3, 1953 in Alamogordo, New Mexico to his parents, Wilma and Martha Stevens Newberry.

He graduated from Heath High School and was employed for several years as a Shop Manager at TVA until he retired in 2008. He was a member of the Teamster Union. Stan's true passion was the outdoors; he enjoyed fishing and hunting especially deer, antelope, ducks, and squirrels. He enjoyed spending time at the beach with his family and adored his grandchildren. Stan loved music and had many favorites but most of all he enjoyed listening to the Beatles. Stan loved to read.

He is survived by his parents; two daughters, Elesha Newberry (Felix) of Okemos, Michigan and Beth Newberry Gurney (Jacob) of Louisville, KY; two brothers, Danny Newberry (Joy) of Kevil, KY and Brandon Newberry (Robin) of Kevil, KY; two sisters, Anne Newberry (Rick) of Murray, KY and Jana Mansfield (Lynn) of West Paducah, KY; a sister in law, Cecilia Newberry; four grandchildren, Lorelei, Eleanor, Ada, and Tillman; the mother of his children, Arlene Moore; twelve nephews and nieces and thirteen great nephews and great nieces.

Stan was preceded in death by his brother, Van Newberry; grandparents, Albert and Myrtle Wallis Newberry and Pete and Gertrude Stevens.

Funeral Services will be Thursday, December 22, at 1:00 pm at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter, KY with Rev. Warren Newberry officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Pleasant Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be Thursday, December 22, 2022 after 12:00 p.m. at Morrow Funeral Chapel
