Suzanne "Poochie" Spears

Kevil, KY Suzanne (Poochie) Hall Spears, age 65, passed away at Baptist Health on Friday, February 28, 2025, at Baptist Health in Paducah, KY. She was born in Bandana, KY on June 27, 1959, to her late parents, William Thomas and Francis Evelyn Bromley Crabtree.

Suzanne first and foremost loved Jesus. She had a servant's heart and would help anyone in need, never meeting a stranger. Suzanne had a God given talent of being able to play piano by ear and a beautiful voice to sing. She loved singing with her family and spending time with them any opportunity she got. Alongside her family and grand babies, she loved many other children who she claimed and called her own. Suzanne was a dedicated Kansas City Chief fan, loved watching Little House on the Prairie and could always be found with a coffee in hand.

She is survived by her husband of 8 years, Glenn Spears of Kevil, KY; two daughters, Chrystal Ross of Paducah, KY and Kim Hall of LaCenter, KY; three grandchildren, Dakota Ross, Addison Ross and Michael Hall; two great grandchildren, Jordan Ross and Hunter Craven; two brothers, Billy Dale Crabtree (Gail) of Kevil, KY, and James Crabtree (Harriett) of LaCenter; two sisters, Marilyn Harrell (Dale) of LaCenter, KY and Donna Jean Steele (Donald) of Kevil, KY. Several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Suzanne was preceded in death by her first husband, Gene Hall, sister, Cheryl Garrett and her parents.

Visitation will be held after 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter, KY.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter, KY at 11:30 a.m. with the Rev. Glen Crowe officiating.

Interment will follow at New Hope Cemetery.
