Terri (Duley) Ross

Terri Duley Ross, age 60, passed away Wednesday, July 24, 2024 at Mercy Health Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, Kentucky. Terri was born in Paducah, Kentucky on April 11, 1964 to Fort Ray and Doris Dement Duley. She is survived by her husband of 31 years, David Ross of Lovelaceville, Ky, two daughters: Kristin Whipple (Jonathan) of Paducah, Ky, and Kelsey Phillips (Corrbin) of Tacoma, Washington, three grandchildren: Colton Brunswick, Simon Whipple, and Oliver Whipple, her mother: Doris Duley of Oscar, Ky, two sisters: Linda Duley of Oscar, Ky, and Marilyn Ingram (Mike) of Oscar, Ky, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Fort Ray Duley.

Terri will be remembered for her many contributions to the community including founding a support group for those with limb differences and increasing access to durable medical equipment through Project Carat - Paducah. She took on every challenge set before her with strength, dignity, and determination. Terri enjoyed traveling, gathering for Bible study, and sharing memories with her lifelong friends. She loved spending time outdoors with her grandsons and admiring the sunsets over Ross Farms. Terri was a member of Lone Oak First Baptist Church for many years and shared the light of Christ with others through her kind and generous spirit. She was a lifelong animal lover, rescuing many raccoons, opossums, ferrets, skunks, dogs, and cats throughout the years. She leaves behind her two dogs, Lola and Rosie, and her cat, Ducky.

Terri was a beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, and grandmother, and a friend to many. Visitation will be held Saturday, July 27, 2024 after 10:00 A.M. at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter, KY.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, July 27, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter, KY with the Rev. Bob Cain officiating.

Interment will follow at Bethel Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
