Dorothy Burnett

Kevil, KY Dorothy S. Burnett, age 87, passed away on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at Baptist Health in Paducah, KY. She was born on January 27, 1938, in LaCenter, KY to her late parents. James "Archie" and Alline (Denton) Renfrow.

Dorothy spent most of her early years growing up in Ballard County. Before Dorothy retired, she was a very dedicated night manager of the Pelican Restaurant. Most of all Dorothy loved the Lord.

Dorothy is survived by two sons, Sid Knight (Laura) of Calvert City, KY and Rodney Knight of Mayfield, KY; two brothers, Jerry Renfrow (Rita) of Barlow and Harry Renfrow (Connie) of LaCenter, KY; four sisters, Mary McTarget of Waverly, Indiana, Kay Kaufield of Georgia, Patsy Payne of Georgia, Joella Stamper of Georgia; five grandchildren, Joshua Knight (Emily) of Calvert City, KY, Brian Knight of Draffenville, KY, Amanda Knight, Lyndsey Knight and Rowe Knight all of St. Paul, Minnesota and several Great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Jimmy Knight, two grandchildren, Christian Knight and Archie Knight, four brothers, Owen Renfrow, Jim Renfrow, Hugh Renfrow, and Ivan Renfrow: two sisters, Ruth Ann Comer and Jean Tarner and her parents.
